Children are always welcome at allofourservices.The information below will hopefully give you a flavour of the style ofworshipatthedifferentservices.SundayServices8.00amHolyCommunionBookofCommonPrayer.A simple and reflective Communion service using traditional language from the 1662 Book of Common Prayer. It is a said service so there are no hymns. The service lasts about 35 minutes.9.45amParishCommunionA formal service of Communion using the Common Worship Service Book. There is a robed choir and both traditional and contemporary hymns are sung. The service lasts about 1 hour and10minutesfollowedbytea and coffeeinthehall.9.45amFirstSundayServiceOn the First Sunday of the month the communion service is slightly shorter in duration (1 hour or less) and has a more informal feel to it. It is especially appropriate for people exploring their faith and families. Tea and freshly brewed coffee are available in thehallafterwards.6.00pmEveningWorshipNormally Evening Worship takes the form of Evensong alternating between the Book of Common Prayer and Common Worship. Sometimes there may be an informal service such as Songs of Praise, Taize, or other reflective styles of worship. Please check the Diary page of the Magazine which is available on this web site for information of the Evening Services. Evening Services usually lastabout50minutes.11.30amFamilyService(ThirdSundayoftheMonth)This very informal service is particularly geared towards children and their families with songs, bible story prayer and a Family Activity Creative time. The service lasts for about 30-40 minutes. Tea, freshly brewed coffee, squash, etc. are available at the back ofchurchattheendoftheservice.12.00 noonService of Holy Communion (First Sunday of the Month)This is a said service using the Common Worship order of service andisfollowedbya cooked lunchintheHall which everyone is welcome to attend. The service lastsabout 20minutes.9.30amHolyCommunion(Thursdays)AsaidserviceofHolyCommunionlastingfor30minutes, followed by refreshments.SomefurtherinformationReceiving Communion Worshipersfrom all Christian traditions who would usually receive communion in their own church are invited to take Communion at All Saints’. Those who are not confirmed are warmly invited to come forward for a prayer of blessing.Children are really welcome. Please bring them along we have a playareainthechurchwithtoysandactivities.There is a hearing loop in church for those with a hearing aid.
