Sundays
8.00am Holy Communion Book of Common Prayer.
(alternate weeks see Diary for 8.00am Holy Communion dates)
A simple and reflective Communion Service using traditional language from the 1662 Book of Common Prayer. It is a said service so there are no hymns. The service lasts about 35 minutes.
9.45am Parish Communion
A formal service of Communion using the Common Worship Service Book. There is a robed choir and both traditional and contemporary hymns are sung. The service lasts about 1 hour and 10 minutes followed by refreshments in the hall.
10.45am #First Sunday Worship (First Sunday of the Month)
On the First Sunday of the month, the Communion Service is more informal and mostly led by our young people and is slightly shorter in duration (no longer than 1 hour). Refreshments are available in the hall afterwards.
11.30am Family Service (Third Sunday of the Month)
This very informal time of worship is particularly suitable for younger children and their families with songs, Bible story, prayer and a craft activity. It lasts for about 30-40 minutes with refreshments available.
2.00pm Forest Church (Second Sunday of the Month)
It is a Fresh Expression of Church which recognises and celebrates the presence of God in nature. This provides for a new way of exploring creation and engaging with God in our local environment. Forest Church welcomes families with children of all ages.
We start from the Church garden at 2.00pm and return around 3.30pm to reflect and have refreshments.
Forest Church meets in all weathers when safe to do so (please check our calendar or facebook page for updates).
Please wear appropriate clothes and footwear.
6.00pm Evening Worship (Fourth Sunday of the Month)
Evening Worship provides a time of reflection using a variety of worship styles, lasting about 40 minutes.
Midweek
8.00am Morning Prayer (Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays)
A simple, informal and reflective service at the start of the day, based on the Common Worship order of service. The service lasts about 20 minutes.
