COVID-19 Period Updates

Due to the COVID-19 restrictions we have had to cancel some of our services and all of our regular groups for the foreseeable future.

As from 21st March 2021 we will be opening our church for public Sunday Worship again. Whilst there is good news about the vaccine roll out and the decrease in the numbers of Covid infections locally, it is important that we continue to be vigilant and adhere to all of the Government guidance regarding minimising the risk of infection.  We have reviewed our risk assessment and in addition to the precautions we previously had in place such as social distancing, sanitising hands, wearing masks etc we ask that you also be aware of the following:

On entering the church you will be shown to your seat by a sides person. They have a system in place to minimise people walking past each other so please use the seat that they identify for you.

As we are currently unable to have the choir singing, we will be using both sides of the church for seating to go beyond the current requirement of 2 metre distancing.

As before, please remain in your seat to receive communion.

At the end of the service, those sitting on the elevated side of the church will be invited to leave through the door leading into the garden.

At the end of the service please do not congregate in groups outside (or inside) as this is contrary to current Government guidance.

To assist in people being able to leave church without delay, and to minimise the risk of groups of people gathering outside, the vicar will not stand outside to greet people at the end of the service.

We know that some of you will be very pleased to be able to return to church whilst others may feel apprehensive or that you don’t feel ready to return for whatever reason. Please be assured that the PCC and I completely understand and fully respect your decision.

Our Sunday Worship service at 9.45am will be in church and live streamed via our facebook page.

Check our church calendar for services.

We are also live streaming via our facebook page Morning Prayer at 8.00am on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

If you already have a Facebook account you can follow All Saints Church Croxley Green and you will receive the live stream.

Any church members (or indeed anyone member of the public) who is in particular difficulty should contact us via the form below, and we will see what we can do.

Planning your Visit

A Warm Hello

Whether you've just moved to the area, have lived here all your life or are just visiting, we hope our website helps you to find out everything you want to know about All Saints’Church, Croxley Green.  We would love to see you!

What facilities are available at the church to enable access for all?
♦ We have temporary ramps available on request for step free access; however, we are looking to
improve access for those with mobility challenges.
♦ There is a loop system for those using a hearing aid.
♦ Our church hall opposite has toilets; one of which is a disabled toilet with changing facilities for
   babies.
♦ There is street parking available around the church.
♦ Large print copies of the service booklet and hymn books are available.
♦ Our Sunday service is also shown on a large screen.
♦ Some services are available on our facebook page.

What should I wear?
Come as you are, wear whatever you feel comfortable wearing; whether it’s jeans or your Sunday best.

What will happen when you arrive?
You will be welcomed and given everything you need for the service. We always aim to start on time but don’t worry if you arrive late.

What will happen during the service?
Some services are more formal than others (see below), but generally they will include hymns and/or worship songs, prayers, Bible readings and a talk. During a service of Holy Communion you will be invited to go forward for Communion or a personal blessing should you wish.

What about children?
Although we do not have a Sunday school, we feel children enhance our intergenerational worship through their openness and engagement with God; therefore they are welcome at all our services. There is also a selection of toys and activities available for them.

What about money?
The church is completely reliant on donations to cover its running costs and so a collection is taken during our services, where cash or card donations can be made if you wish.

What happens after the service?
There are refreshments available after our Sunday main service. We would love you to join us so we can get to know each other better.
