Christian aid
Christian Aid Week 12th - 18th May

Christian Aid is the relief and development agency of 41 Christian (Protestant, Catholic and Orthodox) churches in the UK and Ireland, and works to support sustainable development, eradicate poverty, support civil society and provide disaster relief.
Christian Aid says:

‘With your help, we can work towards a world where families can escape the trap of poverty and fulfil their ambitions. With your support, more families can build reliable and diverse incomes that bring them food security, better health, safer homes, increased resilience and hope.’

For most of you, your Christian Aid giving envelope will be delivered through your door during Christian Aid Week by kind volunteers from all the churches in Croxley Green organised by the Croxley Green Christian Aid Committee.

There are several ways in which you can make your donation this year:
· you can deliver your filled envelope to a house in your own road. The house number will be on your envelope and the house will be displaying a Christian Aid Poster.
· there is a QR code on the envelope label that links to the Rickmansworth and Croxley Green group which some might prefer to use
· you can donate via the website https://www.christianaid.org.uk
· you can bring your envelope to Church or the Parish Office.
If you do not receive an envelope, there will be envelopes at the back of our Church. Please feel free to take one and either return it to the Parish Office, bring to a service or post in the wall safe.
Every contribution will make a real difference, so please give as generously as you can.

Planning your Visit

A Warm Hello

Whether you've just moved to the area, have lived here all your life or are just visiting, we hope our website helps you to find out everything you want to know about All Saints’ Church, Croxley Green.  We would love to see you!

What facilities are available at the church to enable access for all?
♦ We have temporary ramps available on request for step free access. There is a fixed ramp
within the church to improve access for those with mobility challenges.
♦ There is a loop system for those using a hearing aid.
♦ Our church hall opposite has toilets; one of which is a disabled toilet with changing facilities for
   babies.
♦ There is street parking available around the church.
♦ Large print copies of the service booklet and hymn books are available.
♦ Our Sunday service is also shown on a large screen.
♦ Some services are available on our facebook page.

What should I wear?
Come as you are, wear whatever you feel comfortable wearing; whether it’s jeans or your Sunday best.

What will happen when you arrive?
You will be welcomed and given everything you need for the service. We always aim to start on time but don’t worry if you arrive late.

What will happen during the service?
Some services are more formal than others (see below), but generally they will include hymns and/or worship songs, prayers, Bible readings and a talk. During a service of Holy Communion you will be invited to go forward for Communion or a personal blessing should you wish.

What about children?
Although we do not have a Sunday school, we feel children enhance our intergenerational worship through their openness and engagement with God; therefore they are welcome at all our services. There is also a selection of toys and activities available for them.

What about money?
The church is completely reliant on donations to cover its running costs and so a collection is taken during our services, where cash or card donations can be made if you wish.

What happens after the service?
There are refreshments available after our Sunday main service. We would love you to join us so we can get to know each other better.
